Spring Break 2015 was supposed to be spent lying on the white sand beaches of Mexico sipping fruity cocktails with my friends and my boyfriend, Heath. Instead I found myself single and flying back home to San Francisco to spend it with my mother, her new boyfriend and his son, Linc.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, Danielle Jamie never ceases to amaze me with her books. I’ve been hooked ever since I picked up Irresistible Desire from a random recommendation. I’m really glad I did because each book of hers just gets better and better. It’s a thrill to see her evolve as an author. They are always such a joy to read especially when you can’t put them down at all (which has been the case with ALL of her books). Plus, she makes it so easy to fall in love with all of her male characters, especially a player like Linc.
Now, what can we say about Linc. He’s that insanely arrogant bad boy we all love to hate but when it comes down to it we wouldn’t mind taking a turn in his bed. I mean, sign me up to ride the Linc train. I will physically fight my way to be in front of that line. That’s for sure. He is called the Sex God of San Francisco for a reason. He knows how to charm the ladies and he only does sex nothing more.
Raven doesn’t stand a chance. She’s like Eve in the Garden of Eden, tempted by the Forbidden Fruit that is Linc. She knows it’s wrong. For all intents and purposes, he’s her step-brother. Unfortunately, what began as loathing Linc has turned into undeniable lust.
This book is a novella which means it’s pretty short. You WILL need more when the book comes to an end. Trust me on that. I’m so glad that Danielle decided to write more and give us the next book from Linc’s perspective. This is only the second step-brother book I have read and it definitely surpasses the first. Forbidden is one hot book that I recommend everyone read.
